Religious Education (R.E.) Registration Information
Religious Education PK-5thGrade & RCIC/RCIT Registration:
Families must be registered parishioners of OLV to enroll in Religious Education. If you aren’t yet registered as a parishioner, you can do so quickly at our website.
1. In-Person Faith Formation held at OLV Evangelization Center Classrooms on Wednesdays or Thursdays 5:45-7:15 pm for Baptized Catholic Children
2. RCIT, teens not baptized or baptized in another faith, 1st and 2nd year Wed. 5:45-7:15 pm
RCIC, Grades 3rd, 4th 5th students not baptized or baptized in another faith. All students enrolling in either RCIT or RCIC must contact Kelly Nunez prior to registration so we place them in the correct class.
3. MS/HS teens needing sacraments, moving from another diocese, catechized, Wed. 5:45-7:15pm.
4. Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS)-Montessori Method 3-6 years old in Rm 101 Level 1 Atrium. Mon or Thurs morning, 10 students per class.
5. Homeschool Option – Parents teach at home with books provided by our program. Sacrament Students need to be properly disposed for their sacraments and will be interviewed.
Sacramental Prep Classes (First Confession, First Communion, and/or Confirmation) Information:
Original Baptism Certificate must be provided to the office By September 1st (a copy will be made in the office and the original returned).
Year 1 (Second Grade) is preparation and reception of First Reconciliation.
Year 2 (Third Grade) is preparation and reception of BOTH Confirmation and First Eucharist.
If your child is in 3rd Grade or older and has not received the Sacrament of Reconciliation, please contact the DRE.
Cost before September 1, 2024 (September 1, 2024 the price increases $10):
Pre-K, Kinder, 1st, 4th, 5th: $55/student
2nd, 3rd, RCIC, RCIT: $65/student
