OLV Faith in Action Ministries

Serves our community by contributing our time and talent to the marginalized and vulnerable, and by promoting a number of caring ministries. We are an umbrella group that strives to help parishioners learn about all the social ministry activities, and to provide them with opportunities to get involved. It is also an opportunity for people involved in various ministries to come to the group for help and support.

Catholic Social Teachingis a central and essential element of our faith. It is a teaching founded on the life and words of Jesus Christ, in his commitment to the poor, and in our experience of Eucharist. As
our parish strives to build God’s Kingdom among us, we use Catholic Social Teaching as a guide for our involvement in community outreach and advocacy work.
Respect Life CommitteeTo be Catholic is to be pro-life. We are the visible active body of the community whose purpose is to promote respect for human life from conception to natural death as specified by the Magisterium of the Church through four paths: Spiritual, Educational, legislative/Advocacy, and Outreach to the parish and community. >Respect Life Page
